We here at OtakuDeus use a proprietary and highly complex rating scale that we call the “Gran Fisher Rating System”, or GRFS. Oh, who are we kidding, we give ratings based on our opinion and also how things compare in relation to each other. Stuff on our scale is graded from 0-10, which additional modifiers given for individual components that can go up to 15. Here’s the scale:
10 (Epic)
- Incredibly entertaining, has incredible artistic merit, and something one can enjoy again and again
9 (Excellent)
- Incredibly entertaining, has great artistic merit, and something one can enjoy again and again.
8 (Great)
- Stands out from the crowd, very enjoyable, has artistic merit… watch it!
7 (Good)
- Stands out from the crowd, very enjoyable.
6 (Above Average)
- Blends with the crowd, but quite enjoyable. Has some merits to it.
5 (Average)
- Blends with with the crowd, but still enjoyable
4 (Below Average)
- Blends with the crowd, but quite unenjoyable. Has some problems to it.
3 (Poor)
- Stands out from the crowd, very unenjoyable
2 (Bad)
- Tolerable to watch, but you’d be better off doing something else.
1 (Terrible)
- Has very little value or merit. Best enjoyed by heckling it.
0 (Fail)
- Has no entertainment value, even when you make fun of it.
